Since baby's kicks became noticeable from the outside and I've really started showing, my DH has gotten SO sweet and mushy 
Its like that's what made the baby real to him. He listened to my belly the other night and could hear baby's heartbeat and got tears in his eyes! He was a great husband before, but I absolutely adore this whole new side of him that I've seen. I think he's going to wear the Daddy badge well! Did your DH/SO start acting differently when you got pregnant or at any certain point in your pregnancy?

The biggest difference was that he was more protective of me...I mean he's always pretty protective of me but I lost track of the amount of "hands-off" glares he gave off to people who even looked like they might approach me. I'm pretty sure he wanted to punch the one who actually got through and put a hand on my belly (without asking).
He also cried at the first U/S and first time we heard the heartbeat, but he's a big softie and cries at sad songs and movies, etc, so I was expecting it

Yes, he yelled at me for eating cookie dough last night hahaha! And he cried when we watched Toy Story 3 the other day, which was soooo cuuuuute. I melted. Mostly, he's just very cautious of hurting me, which is sweet.

Umm... no. He has acted almost EXACTLY the same as ALWAYS and it kind of freaks me out. Sometimes I wonder if he realizes we're about to have a baby...

He was more protective of me than usual. When we were in Paris for our babymoon, we were on the subway during rush hour and he wedged himself between me and a group of people crowding onto the subway car to protect my belly.

Sort of, just little things. I do think lately he tells me more that I am beautiful, cause he knows I feel like a fat cow. He also is more willing to do things around the house cause he knows I can't do it.

Not really. He was always mushy, always loved babies, always was very protective of me. He still is.

DH was always mushy and protective, but while I was pregnant he got more helpful around the house. Post pregnancy he's still really helpful - I'm lovin it!

He is way more concerned about me hurting myself (i and a HUGE klutz and tend to fall alot) and never lets me carry anything! Its kinda silly- its ok hunny- I can carry that gallon of milk!
He also is so good about helping around the house- he has started doing the laundry and I LOVE it! -
Not pregnant or anything, but I suspect he will be more protective. He gets super concerned about me as it is, I'm sure it will only get worse, ha.

Yes, it's adorable in a sort of barfy but awesome way. He's not protective of me necessarily, but he is so much kinder and does so much more for me. Just...very considerate in general and goes out of his way to make sure I don't need anything (or get me a glass of water if i want it, when previously, i'd always get it myself!). He never bitches about having to clean up more or do extra work, either. And he gets a big kick out of the baby now.

DH is never mushy or protective, but during my first pregnancy he was SO nice to me. I'd yell at him for something totally ridiculous and he'd just say "I love you!" and he never complained if I woke him up in the middle of the night a million times to get me some water or some crackers or help clean up vomit or because I had some crazy dream that made me cry.
He's a lot more on the side of "suck it up, babe" for this pregnancy.

He's always been a bit of a mush-ball, so there's not realy anything new. I've been visiting his family this weekend and I'm getting all sorts of special treatment because I'm "with child". It's pretty fun.

He is way more protective and I love it! He always took care of me before, but now it's even moreso--he fills my tank up with gas, does the dishes, does the laundry, runs upstairs to get stuff for me, always tells me just to relax on the couch and he'll do whatever I need. It's really cute
