@MusicaV: Same here! When the head was visible, DH kept yelling "There's hair! I see hair! Our baby has hair!"

Ridiculous heartburn from 20 ish weeks, it got so bad n the 3rd trimester that tums didn't even help. He had a lot of hair, which I was very happy about!

for me it was true. Terrible, terrible heartburn (I should have bought stock in Tums!!!) and LO had a full head of thick, long (for a newborn) hair. She had so much hair that during the 30-week ultrasounds, you could see her hair! ha ha

I also think race places a roll in this, because some races are more likely to have hair as babies than others. Generally speaking most black or asian babies I've seen hhave some hair or a lot of hair whilst most white babies I've seen have less hair or are bald.

I didn't have terrible heartburn but I was popping Tums every night before bed for the entire third trimester, and possibly even towards the end of the second tri. I could probably have gone without but I didn't like feeling my food creeping its way back up my esophagus when I laid down - ugh!
DD was born with a FULL head of hair!

I didn't have any heartburn and my LO was born with a ton of hair. I did have really bad reflux though.

I had really mild heartburn (like, handful of times) and L had a TON of hair. Everyone in the delivery commented on what a full head of hair she had.
