@spaniellove: yeah, no. You need to get out, STAT.
ETA: I love my regular nurse, but I always see a doctor when I go in, too. The whole thing just sounds bizarre and NOT what you need after all you've been through!

I had my first appointment yesterday and saw a NP, which surprised me a bit. I was assured that my next appointment would be with my OB. The NP was nice and all, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I went ahead and made an appointment with the original practice I wanted to go to before my RE suggested someone else. I like that at this place your appointment is with a specific doctor and you stay with that doctor, like I assume it should be! My fear has always been that there would be too many different people seeing me and not understanding the details of my situation, and a place where it's a different nurse every time just isn't right for me.

@spaniellove: I'm glad you switched and found a practice that meets your expectations. You'll be spending 9 months or more there so you want to find a practice/provider that treats you right.

@spaniellove: i saw an OB at every visit, even for a 2 minute chat.

@spaniellove: Good! I'm glad you made an appointment to switch. You've been through too much to deal with that uncertainty.
