almost none of them....he was in his 2nd year of pediatric residency and his schedule was too crazy. i didn't mind. he was able to make it to the 20-week when we found out the sex.

my hubby went to every single appt, even though i told him he didnt have to. most of the appts were 10 minutes tops, so i felt bad for making him get out of the office. my SIL jokes that by the fourth baby (she is on her fourth), daddies rarely go with you to the hospital~

My husband's a surgery resident and has crazy hours, too, so probably won't be able to make all of my appts. As luck would have it, he is on a laid back rotation during the month when my first appointments (8.5 and 10.5 weeks) are scheduled so he is actually going to be able to come to those! After that, I doubt he will be able to make many appointments.

Mine went to the bigger ones -- the 1st one and any time we had an ultrasound. He works far away so it was inconvenient for him to take the time off work in the middle of the day, plus they were usually so short and quick it would have been silly for us.

Hubs went to one appointment (so he could hear the heartbeat) and then one ultrasound (the gender reveal one). He works, and often travels, so he wasn't able to attend much. But like Blushink, it was a super long wait for maybe a 3 minute appointment. You weighed, peed, heard the heartbeat, asked any questions, sometimes measured fundal height and bam! Appointment over.

Every single one except one he couldn't make it... lucky for him, my OB is right down the street from his old work. For the next one I doubt I'll ask him to come along except for the big ones with the ultrasounds.

I'd usually say that my husband will only come with me to the big appointments like ultrasounds and such, but he has a lot of PTO to use, so he might come with me to most of them. I don't think I'll need him to come along, but I'm sure it'll help him feel more involved.

Hubs has been to all appts except one. We actually schedule them around his work schedule because he wants to be there to hear the heartbeat and ask questions as well. Again, its our first and came after 2 years of trying. I think he also got used to attending dr. appts. with me after so many trips to our RE while we were trying! Our next appt. is the 20 week scan so he'll be there for that, but as I begin to go more frequently and its just for a quick in and out visit we'll see if he decides its not worth messing around with schedules!

I obviously can't say for sure because my husband and I aren't even pregnant yet, but I suspect he'll only come to the big ones. My doctor's office is in our home town, but my husband works almost an hour away, so it would be hard for him to be able to make it to them. I'd probably try to schedule them early in the morning or late in the evening so he could, but he probably won't go to all.

I'm only 18 weeks, but Nico went to my very 1st one, where all they did was draw blood {we didn't really know what to expect} & then I switched OBs & he came to my first appointment with my new one, too - I was 11 weeks & thought that we would be having an U/S, so my mom & gma came too, ha!
Then he came with me the next week, to my actual sonogram that didn't happen the week before. The only one after that we're planning on him coming to is the 20-week sonogram. We aren't finding out the sex, but this is the first grandchild on both sides, so he, his mother, my mom, & my gma are all coming. It's going to be a production!

I can't remember! How bad is that? I think he came to almost every one of them. My doc has an ultrasound machine in the office, so I had my first at my 7 week appt.

He has tried to make it to as many as possible, but so far he's only made it to 1 out of 3. He missed the first u/s and the first heartbeat because of our work schedules, but I was able to make the next u/s at a time that he should def. be able to go! I'm so excited for him to see the baby!!!

At first, no. But then the pregnancy got more and more complicated, so starting after the 20w appointment, he came to them all -- weekly.

My husband has come to every one. He doesn't really have a choice since I still haven't learned how to drive in the UK... I'm getting to it... eventually...

So far he's come to every one. He might be a bit late to one I have coming up next month because of his work schedule, but I'm hoping he'll make it on time to see our LO. We have to have yet another ultrasound at 28 weeks to check that the placenta is moving up and we get a third chance to see if what we're having (so far we're 2-0)
