With A, it seemed like it took forever...maybe because it was my first and everything was new. This time, it is flying by...I can't believe how fast it's going. It's kind of making me nervous!

It was slow for the first 20 weeks and has flown by for the last 16! It's crazy to think I have 4-5 weeks left (possibly less if baby comes before EDD).

It seemed really slow at first, but I feel like the last 2 months have been racing by! Maybe it's because of the holidays--we've been really busy and traveling a lot--but I need things to slow down! I cannot believe it's almost my third trimester

Slow at the beginning, then really really fast starting around 20ish weeks.

When I thought about the impending lifetime responsibility of caring for and developing a little human, it went FAST.
When I was thinking about how craptastic I felt, it went SLOWWWWWW

It seemed slow at the very beginning, but since announcing, it's gone really fast. I'm scared about how fast the next four months are going to go!

In the moment it seems like it's going by so slow. But when I look back I realize just how quickly these 34 weeks have went by! So both!

It started out slow because I was anxiously awaiting to "pop". Once I popped, the weeks went by a little faster.

The first trimester went by slow, but the second FLEW by! I'm just at the beginning of the third but I can already tell it will go by fast, too since we haven't even started on the nursery and I feel like I still need to learn more about what life will be like caring for a newborn. So far I've just read a lot of pregnancy and birth books, no baby books - Eek!

My pregnancy seems to go by really fast, until the last stretch. I'm almost at 39 weeks and this last month really has dragged a bit. I guess it doesn't help that I have a little cabin fever and haven't been out of the house in days.

1st pregnancy neither slow nor fast, 2nd pregnancy, light speed!

Way too fast! I loved being pregnant though... I still miss my bump sometimes(10 months pp)!

Day to day, I feel like it goes really slowly. Looking back, though, I can't figure out how I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow! I feel like that once Thanksgiving came around, things have been *flying*! I had a rough time until about 20-22 weeks, so I'm trying to savor this last part!

@raintreebee: fact. I can only imagine for you. Now that we've hit viability, I'm actually finding myself willing time to go a bit faster so that if something happens, baby will be bigger. But you've made it so far!!!

So slow during, as we waited for milestones (less risk of miscarriage, viability, etc) but now I can't believe how fast it flew by! It didn't help that I'd mentally prepared to go to 42+ weeks, but baby came at 39!

Fast but now that we are down to the last couple of days it is taking fooooooorrrrreeeeevvvvveeeeerrrrrrr.

@LovelyPlum: so thankful for it too! Glad things are going well for you!!!

The same. Slow the first time and very fast the second. I think time goes by faster with a toddler to take care of.

Same- my first dragged on forever, but this one has been warp speed! I'm FREEKING OUT that I only have about 8 weeks left!!

I'm with those that say slow for the first half and then absolutely flying by the second half! I wouldn't mind these last six weeks slowing down a little, I feel like there is heaps to still get done before bebe arrives!
pomegranate / 3314 posts
Really slowly with my first. Not pregnant with my second yet, but I keep thinking that when it happens things will move quickly. Time flies when looking after a super active toddler!

My first went slow but I needed it to! Just to process everything, plan, save, etc. My second went slow because I was really, really sick with Hyperemesis. This time I have meds for the Hyperemesis and I feel better plus with having two and being busy, it's going by fast.

Definitely slow during all of first trimester (feeling sick, fearing miscarriage) and during those last few uncomfortable weeks. The middle part actually seemed to fly by since I felt great and was enjoying myself (it also helped that it was summertime and we went on a couple fun trips).

I'm not done yet but…. weeks 4-13 took FOREVER. Weeks 13-22 flew by (holidays). And now time is crawling again.

@raintreebee: thanks
@MrsH: sounds about right. Hang in there, Mama!
@lemondrop: the fact that March mamas only have 8 weeks left makes me freak a little, too!!

@LovelyPlum: I keep getting told to expect earlier rather than later, my ultrasound today was an eye opener at his projected size and dates!
I hear ya, the January and February moms are freaking me out too! So excited that you are getting so far along though!!
eggplant / 11408 posts
@lemondrop: thanks! I have tried to mentally prepare myself for going later into April, but the concept of an earlier baby is really messing with me. I'm not ready!!!!!!! I hope your little one stays put for a little bit!
