Okay bees, here's a question!
We bought our house 6 months ago. We have an enormous garden, 110ft long, with apples trees in it. It was a dreadful mess when we moved in - like a jungle - and I spent the spring digging over some of the garden and planting lovely plants. I got about 1/3 of the way down the garden - then the wettest summer to ever hit Britain occurred and my plans were shelved!
I have big plans for the rest of the garden. We will have a lawn on one side (for the future kids!) - and a greenhouse/huge veg patch on the other side. However - it is currently a weed jungle - featuring every the stubborn weed in the book (brambles, bindweed, couch grass). The only way to get rid of these weeds is to spend the entire winter painstakingly digging them and their roots out. It's a long and heavy job - but one I'd really enjoy but for this:
We're hoping to be pregnant during winter! We got a BFP on our first cycle trying, last month (but it didn't stick), so there's no reason to think it'll take us too long to catch again.
So, what do you all think? Am I crazy to think I'd be able to physically do this? Is there any risk?? I'd appreciate your comments because, if you think I shouldn't do it if I get pg, I will have to rethink my plans for the garden!!!
Thank you!
