We had lunch at Ikea, so dinner was light.
We did toasted french bread with chicken salad, steamed veggies, and then applesauce. The french bread was $1.99, canned chicken was $1.50, steamed veggies were $2, mayo and mustard already had. Applesauce was $2.50 for the jar. All told, $8 for the meal.

We had Subway, so $5. A foot-long veggie sub split between us.

@locavore_mama: technically, yes, but I had to purchase them , so I included the full cost. When I use them in the future, I won't remember what I paid, lol, so they're pantry items!

@Mrs. High Heels: My husband loved it, it's going in the rotation!
I kind of eyeballed the mayo/wasabi and ended up not needing all of it, so next time, I plan to use about a quarter cup of mayo for 4 6 oz servings of salmon.
