So many food commercials for delicious-looking things... I went to Popeye's for lunch today (where I have only been once in my life) because a commercial for butterfly shrimp, cajun fries and a yummy looking biscuit has been calling my name for several days. I am happy to say it was absolutely delicious! Do you ever change lunch/dinner/etc. plans because the TV made you do it?

All. the. time. I'm such a sucker for advertising!! Lately I've also been victim to seeing someone in a movie or tv show eating or drinking something and then needing it right away. No commercial needed. Oy.

Not really. They make me hungry but then I just eat something in my house.... I don't go out and get the item from the commercial.

Nope, I actually mentioned to DH the other day that no commercial has ever swayed me to buy anything, or go to a certain resturaunt, etc!
Now, get back to me when I have pregnancy cravings lol.

@MrsTiz: haha, once I was driving back to college after a shopping trip w/friends and we saw a Red Lobster billboard randomly in the middle of nowhere. So we talked about how ridiculous it was since the closest one was like 45 mins away, near campus...and talked about it a little more, then decided that shrimp and cheddar biscuits sounded good...and then we magically ended up at Red Lobster for dinner. Guess that billboard knew what it was doing!
@Leialou: I saw on facebook that they are making MEGA STUFFED OREOS for a limited time only. Just think about it.

Not really. If I'm craving or have already decided on eating out and see a special or promo going then I might be more persuaded to go there.

YES, I am a food advertisers dream!! DH always shakes his head when I say, "ooo, I want that!!" after a commercial.

Yes. You know what's the worst is watching people on a tv show eat something, like popcorn, then you want it too!!
I almost always crave what I see on tv unless its fast food.
