People are always trying to guess whether I'm having a boy or a girl based on the shape of my stomach and how I'm carrying. I don't really believe in old wive's tales like that, but I must admit that people guessed Charlie was a boy 100% of the time. With this pregnancy it's been half and half.
Do you believe in any old wive's tales?

I kind of do! We didn't know if RJ was a boy or a girl, but from the way I was carrying I was really convinced he was a boy. I tend to gain weight all around but I was all belly and VERY forward... plus he was super active. So RJ did follow some old wives tales.

Eh, my Aunt who is psychic told us we were having a boy and described him to us. Sure enough Bug is a little gentleman but for the rest of her prediction we will have to wait and see.

Our baby was the total opposite of nearly every single old wives tale, so I was convinced it was a boy and it turned out to be a girl!

I sort of did, yeah. Based on how I was carrying, everyone said "girl" and they were right. In terms of the other old wives' tales, it leaned toward girl but I had strong "boy" ones. The way a woman carries in her belly is the only one I totally believe.
