I hope, I pray that they do because if it doesn't it will mean that I will never get to wear my pretty pre-pregnancy shoes again! Do these boats ever shrink back??

My answer would be no... Before my first child I was a size 8... I am now a whopping size 10/11
ETA: mine never swelled up, the actually grew. My moms feet grew after having each of her children...

No. I am so upset because I am a total shoe hound. My feet didn't swell until my last week of pregnancy (when we moved houses) but I hoped it was temporary. I'm a half-size bigger so most of my shoes don't fit anymore.

Mine did. I was a 6.5 before and I can wear all my old shoes. My feet do hurt all the time now....not sure what that's about.

My feet never grew during pregnancy, but they did swell up after labor. It took about two weeks for them to return to normal. My shoe size is the same.

Yes! My feet are the same size post baby just stay super hydrated!

Mine didn't go back! I never had swelling but they grew! I went from a size 8 to a size 10 when I had my DS 8 years ago. I had to give all my pretty shoes to my sister! Booo!

OMG This post scares me. I hope my feet don't grow! I love my shoes!!

Oh my God I'm scared. I'm already a size 10/11, if my feet grow anymore there will be no shoes on the market for me. Yikes!

This scares me like crazy. I watched "Change Up" last night and the wife/mom in there talks about having weird feet post 3 children and having to order from an internet site for ugly shoes.
I hate my feet to begin with, but they are a manageable 7.5/8. I hope to God that they return to this size as I have a shoe closet that would be very mad at me if I never wore them again.

Mine did.
I was worried too, I had so many shoes that I didn't want to go to waste!

Mine did swell (probably one size bigger) but it did return to my pre-preggo size. Whew!

Mine grew and didn't return to pre-preggo size. But the swelling did go down completely though.

My swelling left my feet almost immediately, I definitely think they grew about a 1/2 size too, my shoes feel snug but I can still wear them.

Oh goodness, this can't happen to me. What would I do without all my beautiful shoe darlings?!?!?! I would cry if I could never wear them again.

Mine never grew nor did they swell. Thank goodness because I have an extensive shoe collection that my husband would not want to be footing the bill to replace!

Yes, they did, but I have no desire to wear anything other than flats and sneakers these days!

mine were size 6 and now I am wearing shoes anywhere from 6 1/2 to 7 1/2. I have only purchased a few pairs so I guess shoe shopping is in order if my feet stay larger!

My feet stayed the same size. They swelled like big potatoes, but went back to normal. Good I guess...not really a shoe person, so it didn't matter to me.LOL

Nope, mine just get bigger with each pregnancy (two so far). Bye beautiful wedding shoes.

Thankfully my feet didn't change at all. I'm already a size 10... this was something I was dreading the whole pregnancy. My coudin did go up a 1/2 size and didn't go back.

eek! I hope they don't grow. Swelling I can deal with because it's temporary, but if my feet grew, that would make me a SAD panda!

My feet did. I was a size 10 before pregnancy and within a few days after delivery, both my feet and ankles were back to their normal size.

size 7.5/8 pre-pregnancy, my feet were crazy swollen after delivery (could barely get size 9 fake uggs back on my feet to leave the hospital) and 2 years later, I'm an 8/8.5. The only shoes I still fit into from before are flip flops, uggs, and rain boots.

Bump
None of my shoes fit! I had extremely swollen feet! I tried cramming my feet into a pair of boots last week and my toes still hurt. I can't keep wearing flip flops and don't want to spend money on new shoes. What to do?!
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
Mine didn't swell much with baby 1 and shoes still fit at 32 weeks with baby 2.
My calves got thicker so I couldn't wear my zip up boots, but they went back to normal size post baby.

I am starting to think my feet did--I had the baby in May and so I wore flip flops from March till now but now many of my shoes don't fit. The good thing for me is I was a 5-5.5, and now I'm a 6. I much more likely to find shoes that fit me now!

OMG, I'm praying my feet stay the same. I am a total shoe-a-holic, and with over 400 pairs, I don't know what I would do with myself if I had to buy all new shoes.....get a second job? Lol
