My side its just my brother and I and we're not that close to our cousins, but its a pretty equal mix. DH's side is him, his brother, and his younger sister, and 3 boy cousins. My SIL has always been a big tomboy and even now isn't your typically girly-girl, so everything has been very sports and boy-centric on DH's side. My SIL and I have the first 2 grandkids and they are both boys 2 months apart, so I think if LO2 ends up being a girl, DH's family (especially MIL, DH's aunt, and Grandma) will effing lose their minds with pink and bows and sugar fart explosions.

No boys around here I hope one of my sisters breaks the trend, I would love a little nephew to love on!

Yes among first cousins and our siblings. I haven't paid attention to the the second cousins LOs too much, but it's not like our kids will play with them anyway. We don't see extended family much.

On my side there are 7 nephews and 1 niece (and several step-nieces, but I'm thinking biologically). All boys on D's side.

On my side it's even. I have 2 boys and my brother has 2 girls.
On DH's side, we have the only kids, so it's all boys.

My mom only had a sister and I am one of four girls. But now that grandchildren have arrived, boys have taken over 3:1. We find out next week if this current one is a boy or girl so the ratio will change soon!

Mine - my brother has 1 boy

Nope, we are extremely girl heavy. In my generation, of my eight cousins on both sides, only one is a boy. I have one cousin who's had kids and she's soon having her second girl.

On my side, there's a pretty even mix so far among my cousins' kids. On my hubby's side, it's also fairly even (although not many kids yet) but in his generation there are way more boys.

I think we have a pretty even split on both sides. MiL always comments on how the family is know for having boys (her biological kids are 2 boys and a girl and DH has an uncle with 4 sons) but I think that was just a boy dominated generation.
