Do you love it?
I never bought one bc I didn't really need one.
Since my DD is older and likes to help in the kitchen, I plan on baking a lot this holiday season and beyond. DH is going to use his hotel points to get me one!

I have one and I LOVE it! I use it at least weekly even if it is just to shred chicken. I am so happy we have enough room in our kitchen to keep it out though, it is a beast.

yup! i have a silver one. mine has the lift bowl & for some reason i'm not good at putting it on, because of that i like my mom's with the lifting top a little better. if i didn't suck at putting the bowl on, i'd like mine better because it's bigger

Yes I love it! We make pretzel dough in it. And shred cooked chicken all the time.

We got one as a wedding gift two years ago and it's been used once to make banana bread. I am hoping to start baking more now that I'm on mat leave but I'll see if that happens!

Yes, if you're a baker I totally recommend it! I have the largest one (we got it for our wedding) but I liked my mother's which is a bit smaller, because you can lift the head back. On mine you can't and I hate moving the bowl down to check all the time. I may not use it all the time, but I use it for hours upon hours around the holidays.

Love it! I was making chocolate chip cookies today and was so glad I had it. I don't use it enough to keep it on the counter but it's easy to pull out of the pantry to use it.

I'm the opposite of @mrs. bird and @marionberry because I have the Artisan version with the tilting head and I REALLY wish I had the bowl-lift version. I like to knead bread dough in mine and the Artisan is really not good for it because the pin that holds the head on wobbles and comes loose. I do like having one, though, and it's probably my second-favorite kitchen appliance after my food processor.

It's on my Christmas list! DH and I both love to bake, and I keep clogging my hand mixer when I make pizza dough.

Yes!! I love it and I love to bake! My mom has the tilting one and I have the bowl lift one. I find the bowl lift one much more convenient.

I always wanted one, but was sold on the Cusinart Stand Mixer instead and I love it! I don't bake too often, but when I do, I love using this. I love the timer option, and how it's relatively quiet!.. And it looks nice on the countertop!

I do and LOVE it!! It makes baking so much easier, but you can also use it for all kinda of other stuff, basically anything you would have to mix up with a spoon! It's awesome!

I get all swoony when I see one, but I don't bake and have zero counter space. Maybe when we finally get to extend our kitchen we'll have a baking area for DH and get him one (so I can pick out a color). Hehe

@StbHisMrs: when I cook the chicken in a crockpot, you just dump it in there and use the paddle attachment. Voila! Shredded chicken!!! It's perfect!!!

Yup we got a great deal on it at Kohls last year. We've used it probably about a dozen times in the last year so I think we are doing ok with it!
I really wanted red but Kohls just had silver so that's what we got!
