I like a girl's name that can be spelled many different ways. I'm going with the original spelling because I think it is the most proper but I know it's going to be misspelled. Is this going to be super annoying? Have you dealt with it personally?
PS - The name has a nickname that is easily spelled so I figure she could go by the nickname, too.
it's always Allison. People also for some reason throw a Y in, Alyson. I am forever correcting people with spelling - "1 L, not 2."
but my nick name is frequently misspelled. I spell it with a Y, my grandma didn't spell it right until I was in my 20s & my ILs still can't spell it. Actually, I think they just don't know my name because they've given me things & written andi, which is not even close!
which is depressing because I LOVE your name..but, I couldn't do it.
at home and friends everyone calls me Jessy, but work and professional settings I'm Jessica. Or if I'm in trouble, if I ever hear my mom say Jessica.....oh man....
