Naw, but I'm in Canada so it's not actually a holiday! Plus I'm on maternity leave so there are no days off... ever

Yep. I'm self-employed, and my boss was nice this year! My husband has the days off, so we use this as a long weekend to relax (is that possible with a 10 month old??), and eat too much food.

Nope - I work at an urgent care that is open 365, and I'm a new hire so I'm working Thursday, Friday and Sunday! Boo.

My office is only closed Thursday but I dropped to 30 hours so I don't work. Friday's regardless. DH is only off Thursday but we are thankful for that since his schedule is insane!

I work in Finance for a large retailer, so we don't get Friday as a holiday but I am taking a vacation day!

Yes and I took off Monday for my son's first birthday! My husband only gets Thursday off but he always takes the Friday too. Actually not always, last year he worked and I ended up checking into the maternity ward alone! In that case he knew he'd be taking a week off any day so he didn't want to use the day.

Hell yes. Friday isn't a paid day off but Im 39 weeks pregnant and there is no way I m going in!

Thanksgiving is our only official holiday at work, but I took Wednesday and Friday as vacation days. My husband is off tomorrow, which is a first for him since he started this job.
