I feel like at least half of the baby showers I've gone to, the parents have been team green. I buy a LOT of gender neutral stuff! But on here, it seems like it's a lot more rare for people to wait to find out.
What do you think-- more team green friends or more friends who find out ahead of time?
FWIW I can only think of ONE baby shower I have been to where they knew they were having a girl! I have more friends with girls than boys, too.

I can only think of one friend who was team green. But almost everyone in my family and my husband's family was team green. Except my bro and SIL who are expecting later this year.

Do I count? If not, then not really. Everyone else I know found out. Only person I can think of who is consistently TG is my husband's cousin who is expecting their fourth (one too many for me!)

I was team green for a while, and that seemed to be rare around here. More people find out than not, at least in my group. I wanted to be different, I was bummed about that.

One of my good friends became green for their three kiddos after my DH told them why we would not be finding out for any of our future kids. We're currently expecting & are green,..other than that, everyone I know finds out as soon as they can.

Out of the last six people I know who've been pregnant recently, three were team green, two wanted to know gender from the start, and one started as team green but changed her mind. I am team green!

I would say probably 60/40 in favor of Team Green. Pretty much all of my online friends find out, but my local friends tend not to and neither do our families. Or, if they do, they're publicly Team Green and don't reveal the gender until birth. We've been Team Green the first two times, but we're finding out this time because *I* want to know, but I still want to be able to make the big announcement at birth. Yes, I'll have my cake and eat it too, lol.

Most people I know are TG - out of my six best friends, who between them have 12 children, only two of the babies were not TG. We were TG for our first and will be for subsequent children as well.
HB was a huge wake up call for me with just how rare it seems to be now to be TG. I had no idea so many people were finding out the gender early!

I would say that 98% of the people I know find out lol I've actually never known anyone to be team green(IRL) but I have two friends due this summer(aug) and winter(dec) and they are both team green.

I only know of two couples who were TG in real life. And we're not close with them. I'm worried that we're going to get a lot of flack from people when they find out that we are KU and Team Green.

@MrsKoala: I would say 80% of the people who find out we are TG say something along the lines of, Oh that's so great, or That's so exciting! I've gotten very little flack (except from my little sisters, because this is now the third team green baby in the family and we drive them crazy, but they are just jokingly mad about it).

I've known 2 couples within the year that are team green in real life. Everyone else finds out. I really want to be team green when the time comes, but hubs doesn't think I'll last.
