I usually only look when I know I'm going to be eligible for free shipping!

Especially when I"m shipping from a US company to Canada. It can get ridiculous.
I have to REALLY want that thing from THINKGEEK to even consider it.

All the time. I wanted to buy a notebook with DD's picture on the cover and the shipping cost was at least $8 for one notebook and I said forget it!

Yep Amazon prime ruined it for me. I will spend a long time shopping, and finding things on clearance online and then when it comes to $5.99 shipping I am like NO WAY! and close the window.

I hate paying for shipping. Retailers would be better off bumping up prices and having "free" shipping. LOL.

I think it's funny that we consider our Amazon Prime memberships as free shipping. I mean I do it too...but it is more like paying upfront for shipping, right?
I always pay for shipping for Shutterfly when they have their freebies. Shipping is usually more than the cost of the item so it is pretty silly not to just order things together and use a code for free shipping. But otherwise I normally abandon my cart and get super annoyed when I get emails about it.

I'm insane. I will drive and do store pickup in order to avoid shipping however my brain somehow blacks out on the tolls I will pay and the time sitting in traffic. Hellooooo metro NYC. It's dumb but I do it. Paying for shipping fro large companies irks me because so many other companies waive it now. Small independent shops I pay shipping without hesitation

@skipra: It depends on how much your order. I buy a TON from Amazon, that without Prime, I'd easily spend over $99 in shipping a year.

The shipping was 2/3 the cost of the product the other day. NO, thank you! Wait for Cyber Monday- aka free shipping day is my motto.

Ugh yes. Hanna Andersson shipping is so ridiculous. I never buy from there unless there's free shipping!

Yes! I hate paying for shipping!
I got a ShopRunner account through American Express, and they do free-2day shipping for tons of online sites. For example, The Limited, where I buy a ton of work clothes, has a $125 minimum to get free shipping and even then it's just Ground. But they use ShopRunner and so I log in as Shop Runner member and even if I just buy a skirt or something, I get free 2 day shipping. It's awesome!
Other stores are Saks, Tory Burch, even Babies R Us and Toys R us- no minimum and free 2 day shipping.

@skipra: shutterfly is the worst! There are almost never free shipping codes so I always end up having to pay $8-10 and it is so so so slow... Things usually take a full 2 weeks to reach me and I live in a large city!

@PrincessBaby: how do I get this through Amex? I could use free Tory burch shipping!
