Do you/did you talk to your baby while pregnant? I do, but only if I'm alone! Mostly it's in response to him moving around or if we're going to do something in the car. DH has caught me a few times and just smiles : )

I sang to her. I felt weird talking to her. I don't know why I felt like it was ok to sing to her though.

I was driving home today, talking to a friend. As soon as I stopped talking, she started kicking. She gave me a good one in the bladder and I started talking to her. Honestly, I just wanted her to stop so I didn't pee myself...

@Jennimac: Never too early!!
@artbee: : )
@mediagirl: The bladder kicks are cra-zay.
I say a lot of "hey buddy!" in a high pitched voice. I have a feeling he'll still be buddy when he's born : )

Yes! Now DH is used to it but one time I said, "Are you ready for bed, baby?" And DH said, "No I'm going to stay up a little later." I said, "I wasn't talking to YOU!"
He's no longer "Baby." It's funny because I call our youngest cat, my DH, and the baby, "Baby" so it can be confusing around here.

Not really... I try to when I am laying alone in bed but I just feel so awkward. DH talks to the baby all the time though, when our daughter was in there he even wrote her a song and played his guitar for her. He is always playing with my belly some way or another, it is so cute

I used to talk to LO all the time while she was still in my belly, but mostly when I was alone.

I do, usually in response to movement/kicks, sometimes if I haven't felt a movement when I usually would I ask "is everything okay in there kickypants?". My co-workers think it is cute when I talk to my baby at work (my LO kicks like crazy in response to babies crying close to my belly).

not much, but I am sure that will change when I can feel movements.
DH talks to her sometimes and leaves her notes on the fridge.

Yeah, all the time. Mostly in response to her moving around. When I do it at work, most customers probably just think I am talking into the headset. lol.

I feel a little silly doing it (I think it'll be better once I can feel the baby)-- hubs rarely does it, either. We mostly say, "Hi, baby" or "Good morning/night, baby"-- nothing longer than a second or two!
