my husband says that i'm pregnant. i think i use both. but it's just easier saying "we're having a baby".... actually, we're having babies.

I have said "I'm pregnant!" and my husband says "Winniebee is pregnant!" I might tell people "we are expecting" but I wouldn't say "we are pregnant."

I think I'd go with what winniebee said. "I am pregnant" versus "we are expecting." "We are pregnant,' though I've heard it said by other couples, sounds as if we are each going to have a baby!!

I'll admit to slipping on occasion and saying we're pregnant instead of we're expecting.
I also sometimes say we're _weeks instead of I. It's hard sometimes!

We usually say we are having a baby.

Winniebee (and others) and I are on the same page, I'm pregnant but we're expecting. I think hubby usually says "we're having a baby"

I'm a bit of a stickler about saying she (whether I'm referring to myself or another woman) and the couple is expecting. However, my husband did trip me up when I said something about how our neighbors just had a baby. He pointed out that that wouldn't follow my guidelines because SHE had the baby, not both of them. Left me stumped about what to say.

I agree I find it a little weird when couples say "we are pregnant" because no, actually just I am pregnant. I prefer "I am pregnant," or my husband saying "my wife is pregnant," or if we need to add the "we" in there, "we are having a baby."

I always say "I'm pregnant" because DH is not pregnant and he doesn't want to be. lol. If I am talking about us as a couple, I say "We are having a baby".

I've definitely slipped out a "we are pregnant" or two. DH likes to be involved, but it does sound kind of weird. I'll have to try to remember to use we are expecting/having a baby. Those sound like much better options
