i dont think i have a prefance, i def want one of each though! But after my son, i would love another little boy, seeing two little guys together would be really sweet and i love having a son that i know another one would be amazing. but then i would love a daughter too, and def want a girl someday as well! i know that having a girl will be amazing too! we want more then two kids...
im torn. whatever, happens, happens, right?!!?

We'd really like a boy.
1. I don't think there are any boys in DH's family to carry on the name.
2. G would LOVE a baby brother (he totally had gender disappointment). He has 2 from his dad but never sees them... even with the large age gap he's great with P and we think he'd really benefit emotionally from a little brother in the homeI mean we'll be happy with more little girls, but we'd also really like a boy. =)

I'd like the next to be a girl but a boy is great too! Especially since I have a boy; it'd be nice for them.
We plan on about 4 so, I'm assuming there will be boys and girls in there! & hey if not, oh well.
But, my world would be like ...ideal if the next were a girl. Boy, girl....so then I wouldn't be worried for #3 & 4 because I'd already have one of each. -
I don't really care! After my first lo another girl would be nice, so they could relate to each other more, but either would be fine.

For my own personal reasons I want one of each, but I think there is something to be said for same sex siblings. I find they tend to be closer, especially in adulthood. If LO is a girl I hope to give her a sister...I don't know where Id be without mine!

We have a wee girl who's seven months old and whilst I'd love for her to have the sister I never had, I think having a little dude would be awesome!

We have a boy and are expecting #2. We are hoping for a girl. DH is one of three boys and I have a brother too. One of DH's brothers has one boy with one more boy on the way. I feel like we are the last hope for a girl on his side of the family.

We have two girls and are so happy. Watching their sisterhood grow is so amazing. I also love that we are using so many hand-me-downs...
But we wouldn't mind a boy or girl for #3. Three girls would be so fun, but a boy would probably better balance out our family. My eldest has also said she wants a brother. A boy would also carry on DH's family name, hopefully.

After DS1 we wanted another boy and we were so excited when we found out DS2 was a boy. We're now deciding if we want a third (planned to but I don't know now) and if we do we're both kinda hoping for a 3rd boy.

and I already kind of feel like I know what to do with a boy. But the other reason is that DH really wants a girl, and also would prefer to have just 2 kids. I would love to experience a girl because like a classic Gemini I am very into both boyish and girlish things. I'd love to play barbies and princess and enjoy the bond of girlhood and womanhood with a baby girl. But I wanted a son a bit more going in to enjoy my masculine side with most of all, I got him and if my next is another boy I will be thrilled too. I love em all. Plus I got a sister so I got to play barbies and princess in my own childhood at least. As well as boyish games!!!

I go back and forth with this! I think I'd love for DS to have a brother to play with. Which means I'd be fine with #3 being a girl because I'd like to experience both.. Butttt DH doesn't even want to talk about #2 yet, and I think he's firmly in camp "no more than 2" for now, so we'll see!

I have a boy and have another on the way. I've always preferred having a boy over a girl (possibly the result of being one of five girls in my family), and I think it will be awesome raising two boys together. Hope they end up being great friends too.
But... I secretly get jealous every time I see a baby girl. They're just so adorable and have the best clothes.
