My fundal height is usually 1-2 weeks ahead and my OB says that it can be plus or minus up to 2 cm from the week that you are and that's normal. My due date hasn't changed at all.

I measured much larger starting early on. I had DS at 39 weeks because I chose an elective c section because of his size. If not I am positive I would have passed my due date. I showed no signs that labor was coming - he didn't drop, I wasn't dilating or anything. So for me measuring ahead meant a large baby not an early baby. And my due date was never changed.

I consistently measured 1-2 weeks ahead both using fundal and ultrasound measurements, I delivered a week early (and I knew exact dates). However, I'm not the world's best baby house, I'm very short, and he ran out of room at 39 weeks when I delivered last time.

I think it's a combination of a lot of things that leads to the baby's arrival. I like the having the baby at the wedding vote I can't remember, is it a local wedding?

A friend was in the same situation as you. She thought her due date was 2 wks before they said and measured 2 weeks ahead the entire pregnancy. She was induced and baby finally made her appearance at nearly 42 wks. Was just a big baby. Am not sure that will make you feel better

I think that's just an estimate of the baby's size which also sort of determines your due date. I have friends whose due dates kept changing too. Since I had a blood clot condition they had me get an additional ultrasound to make sure the baby was growing at the rate he was suppose to grow. They measured every bone in his body. And, btw, congrats! I had no idea you are pregnant!
