DH has the option of working from home on those days that LO has a wellness check-up, so we tend to go together, but it feels unnecessary now that LO is older. Does your DH/SO go with you to all of the wellness check-ups, some or only the ones in the beginning? Or, none at all?

DH came to the early appointments - maybe < 3 months? (M was early so we had very frequent checks. Since then I've taken her by myself. I'm sure he would love to go if it didn't mean taking the day off of work, but I feel like the appointments are pretty uneventful now.

We split them up now. I schedule and do the dental appointments and Bee schedules all the pediatrician ones. I do a good number of those solo; it depends on who is busy that day!

Yes, but we only have 1 car so I schedule it on days that dh has the morning/day off and we go together.

His earliest shift starts at noon so it's easy for him to come to them, and he likes to go. He likes being able to talk with the pediatrician. He's missed two sick-baby appointments, though, just because it I had called to ask a question and they ended up wanting to see him that afternoon.

He came the first couple while he was still on his paternity leave, but that's it. I'm a SAHM so I schedule them during the day, and it's not worth him taking time off for them. If anything, I'd rather he take off for MY appointments so he can watch her while I go. Hers are boring.

Only the first two weeks when he was on vacation/leave.

DD is 13 months and DH has been to every appt so far. He works from home. I love that we go together and hear everything the doc is saying first hand.

He came to the first two appointment because he was on paternity leave. He's been to one sick visit since, but it was because we both had errands to run in the same direction.

Yep. All of them. He handles the shots. Except for when I took him to see a nurse for flu booster

DH only came for the first 2 appts within the first week that we were home from hospital. after that he was back at work, so i go alone. Now we are both working and there may be some appts in the future that DH goes, but I don't.

My husband came to them all up till the 6 month one where he decided to sleep in instead.. Lol not sure if he'll be going to future ones or not.

He went to the ones during the first few weeks since he was on paternity leave and was great support for our lactation consults, but it didn't really seem necessary after the first few weeks. He just let me know any questions he had ahead of time.

Every appointment but one random visit to see if a bug bite was a reaction or infected.

Between two kids, I think he's only been to the pediatrician with us less than a handful of times. I go solo with them usually.
He does routinely go with us to the pediatric dentist though... I have to get Sat appts for that to happen, which isn't easy, but I don't like the kids watching each other's procedures and sometimes I have to be in the room. So if we can't get Sat appts, I have to take each kid separately on my own.

Actually DH is the one who takes them to all their well visits - he has off every other Friday so I schedule them then - I stay at work!

yes, DH comes to LO's wellness checks, although LO is only 12 months--it might change in the future.

He's been to a few and took DD to an appointment by himself yesterday afternoon while I was at work. I don't know that it is realistic for us both to go to most, but I do want him to take her to some now that we are both at work.

He's only been able to come to one well visit - the initial peditiatrician visit when he was a newborn. He doesn't get to take time off work since he's a doc in a hospital. He has made it to a few sick visits though.

So far, we always go together....but our rpactice is open saturdays so we just make it a family outing.

We both go; DH can work from home, so while I was off, we would go together. Now that I'm back at work, I can also work from home, so we'll probably still go together. He's picky (not sure if that's the right word) about questions to ask the doctor, and if I don't ask them all he gets snippy. It's better for both of us if he comes along.

So far, he's come to all of them. He likes to see how DS is growing, but leaves the room when it comes to shots.

There's only been 3 so far so he's come to them all. He started a new job now so I'm not sure about the next one.
