Some places that I've worked had *no* snacks or even drinks.
My current company has free cheese sticks, popchips,bread,peanutbutter,jelly,yogurt,cereal,chips,jerky,gummy fruits, granola bars,oatmeal,juice,soda,sparkling water,milk,tea and coffee.
On Fridays there are breakfast tacos and happy hour with beer and wings starting at 4.
I save probably $50 week by eating the food at work

No free food aside from the donuts/snacks/baked goods people randomly bring in.

No free food or drinks, unless someone brings something in to share. We have vending machines in the kitchen, lol.

Yup we have bagels 3 times/week, the other two they put out snack foods like nutrigrain or granola bars. There's always fee coffee and soda, and in the afternoons they put out bananas and apples or candy. It's great, but also weird because there's no vending machines so you're at the mercy of when they put out food and how picked over it is. Luckily there's always lots of diet coke to feed my addiction.

Do you work at google?! Heh. My company is so cheap, so no. I guess the water in the fountain is filtered so that's free? Haha!

Nope. Nothing. Not even allowed to use funds for good if we are hosting an event.

No free food for us either except for water. 
There is even a coffee club because the coffee is not free. I'm lucky that someone took it upon themselves to have a snack cabinet. We have to pay for stuff but it's like 50 cents.

Soda, coffee, tea. Free lunch on Wednesdays. Pushing for starting to keep a supply of healthy snacks around too.

We have tons of snacks and drinks but no meals on a regular basis. I don't work for Google but it is a tech company so maybe they like to keep people fed. They ask us what snacks we prefer which is also very nice. In my area we asked for only healthy snacks so we wouldn't be tempted or at least have to walk further to find chocolate or cookies!

We have free soft drinks and tea/coffee K cups with an industrial Keurig. Once in awhile for a celebration they will give us food.

my old office had little snacky things like pretzels and candy, sometimes cookies or things from TJs. and we had coffee and creamer and tea. not enough to live on but nice little pick me ups!

Our office has soft drinks and an array of snacks in stock at all times, like chips, granola and cereal bars, etc. We also have one of those coffee and tea beverage machines and a filtered water cooler. On Fridays we have breakfast delivered: breakfast sandwiches, bagels, muffins and fruit.

Wow!!! We get free coffee, water and oatmeal. And bagels for birthdays. At my last long term job there was always free food during staff meetings and various breakfast during staff birthdays.

Nada. Employees even have to pay if we want to use the water cooler. I always want to laugh in people's faces when they complain about all the "perks" government employees get, 'cuz I haven't ever been privy to them...

Nothing. We have a Brita and a Keurig but you have to provide your own kcups. We do get a nice discount in the cafeteria and other museum restaurants though!
ETA: All my previous companies had free drinks! One had a coke machine that was free, you just pushed the button. That was fun.

For me, when I think of the "perks" of a govt job, it is job security and pension. I think it is only software companies that have free food, drinks, snacks, gear, on-site massage, etc.
When I visited the FB office they had a giant wall of snacks including full size candy bars. I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to resist having Twix just about every day if I worked there!

@PurplePeony: For sure, hey? We don't even have a water cooler because I work for the municipal government, and need to model that municipal tap water is just fine for drinking, and no cups available because we have to model sustainability, so if you forget your bottle you're screwed unless another employee has brought in the mugs they couldn't sell at their garage sale or whatever to stock the dish cupboard.
But yeah, nothing free at our work place. We have snacks available to purchase, but they're probably double the price you'd pay in a vending machine anywhere else since it's all fundraisers for city programming.

Only if we have an inservice or the monthly birthday cake. Pizza Hut comes to campus three times a week, but we still have to pay for it.

We have coffee & milk. But I work in fashion; in both my jobs, in our corporate headquarters there isn't much, but in the city where the showrooms and clients are, the fridges are stocked with drinks, they got snacks, and free lunch always magically appears... lol!

My last job had free lunch, and it was GOOD food!
My current job has free fruit, and a snack/drink bar where everything is $0.50. They take a small hit because it's pricier stuff like Cliff bars, big bags of chips, Monster, Red Bull, natural granola etc.

Nope. On our floor, we're known for being vultures when meetings let out. Right now, I'm happy that somebody stocked our break room with a box of PG Tips.

Coffee, Lipton tea, all kinds of milk. There are always meeting leftovers lying around, and sometimes you can actually make a lunch out of it.

Free coffee, tea, and filtered water. They don't provide food at any meetings, except for once a year when the Board of Directors visit and we get pizza. They do small recognition ceremonies for people's work anniversaries (in 5 year intervals), and it has to be a 25+ year plaque in order for there to be cookies.

On a daily basis we have a soda machine, coffee, various milks, and tea. The sink has filtered water. Every Friday we get OJ, donuts, bagels, and fresh cut fruit. During quarter end we get around 6-8 nights of dinners and lunch/dinner over the first working weekend. Certain meetings or trainings will also have food/snacks or dessert. We also have a really nice cafe in one of the buildings where we get a discount. I work at a software company.

Oh and we do cake for team members birthdays and lunch once in a while when we have finished or are working on a big project 2-3 times per year
