I have a 2 year old with sensitive skin - we are constantly battling one rash or another. We have a script from the doc that is basically strong hydrocortisone cream. If I'm diligent (which requires battling an unwilling toddler) this does help with rashes.

Lately I'm wondering if there is a food allergy component - she gets rashes around her mouth sometimes and her eyes often. I'm trying to note when it happens to see if there's a pattern for now.

Wondering if anyone here has dealt with sensitive skinned kids and has any tips - besides the obvious, as we are using scent and dye free detergent, Cetaphil wash, and giving baths sparingly. Is there any credence to my food allergy suspicion?
