I had to go to an office holiday party, and it was sooo hard to not keep checking my phone for updates. How could I be jolly? So, it was Ryan's younger brother Adam?

@dc yoga bee: Correct & it seems he had an altercation with & shot his mom at their home and THEN went to the school! I know it doesn't make it better but had she already been at the school it would atleast make "more" sense that the children got caught in the mental breakdown cross-fire. Sadly though he went there with intent to hurt the class.
I've seriously been between crying breakdowns all day. It's just so tragic.

Absolutely heartbreaking. DH and I don't have any children yet, but he told me he wants me to home school once we do. His exact words were "You always wanted to be a teacher. You should teach our children in a safe environment. I don't want to have to worry about my children never coming home again." I thought that was sweet. It's so sad when you have to worry about sending your child off to another institution without you and wonder if they'll be okay.
