I am due in two weeks and was recommended to a pediatrician practice by a few different momma friends. We pre-registered our little one about a month ago so that we can just bring her one for her first visit a few days after birth. The practice has a few doctors and they have evening as well as weekend appointments, which is great to schedule around work. They have a cute waiting room setup and also a separate room for sick kids, which I thought was very considerate.

My GP will also be our LO's doctor, and I've know from the get go that she will be seeing us both after LO is born

I'm due in April, but am lucky, I guess, because there is only one really really good pediatrician's office in my area. And my husband's pediatrician is still there and is a family friend, so we're just going to be using her. One less thing I have to worry about.

Huh. You know, I hadn't even thought about finding a pediatrician yet. Yikes! Yet another thing to start researching and obsessing over.... I'm hoping to find a family practice where we can all go in our town. That would be best for all of us.
