I'm a big fan of JCrew ones. I always get them at their outlet stores or their Factory store online. They're a little pricier $30-$40, but I've had them for a pretty long time.

I really like my Target ones... I haven't had them for too long, so I hope I don't the same experience of them not holding up!

J,Crew. I think it's called the Jackie? I like it, although I do think they're overpriced.

Banana Republic. My JCrew cotton cardi's dont hold up at ALL. My black BR one has been a go-to for years.

@MsLipGloss: right?! i think they're merino wool and my JCrew ones are cotton, which is probably the difference. my JCrew ones are super cute colors but look like crap.

What JCrew ones is everyone referring to that are so great?

I find that if I dry clean my black ones they hold up and look crisp for years. I like BR and J.Crew.

I also like JCrew, but have had good luck with ATLoft too. I wash almost all my clothes in cold water and hang or lay flat to dry...I find it really extends the life of my clothes.

I buy Target cardigans but always wanted to splurge on J.Crew.

i havent tried BR or JCrew, but i like my GAP merino wool one a lot!! Also a cardi from Mexx (canadian store) that i've had forever and wear all the time.

I love the Victoria's Secret cardigans. They hold up really well, and they have sales on the cashmere ones all the time. So soft, but not too bulky for wearing in the spring/fall.

I love the J. Crew Factory Clare cardigan. I always wash my laundry in cold and hang it up to dry and they hold up great! J. Crew has a lot of sales and I wait until they have a 30% so the cardigans only cost about $25.

Just bought one from gap today for 25$ after in store discount and 10% off for using my gap card. The material seems nice so I'm hoping it'll hold up for awhile.
