We are quickly moving towards becoming foster parents. We've completed our CPR class, are half way through our home study, and have turned in every last piece of paperwork. It's getting close now. I feel pretty confident about the basics of dealing with babies (we are hoping for an infant, ideally a newborn who might be likely to be adoptable) but I would really like to do some reading over the next few weeks/months to prepare and organize my thoughts. I've had enough experience that the basics come pretty naturally to me, but I enjoy researching and have spent so much time researching TTC and pregnancy, I haven't had a chance to start reading about parenting (plus it was too hard when I was TTC and not sure if/when it was ever going to work).
So I'd love to hear what your favorite books are! Thanks.
