If you're LO had the hiccups while in utero, did they continue to have hiccups when they were born? If so, how long after birth did they continue to have the hiccups?

Yes! LO hiccuped so much in utero and as a newborn. I honestly don't remember when they decreased in frequency.

Yup! Newborn hiccups FREAKED ME OUT because LO's chest looked like it was caving in every time he hiccupped. He still gets them at 8 months old, but much less than he did as a newborn.

Yes, constantly!
I don't remember when they stopped. Around 6-8 weeks maybe?

I never really felt hiccups while pregnant. But R got them all the time as a newborn, like 5 or 6 times a day. At 3.5 months she gets them a couple times a week now. Unless she is getting them while at day care still.

My dd used to get the hiccups 3-4x per day in utero and that continued after she was born. She still gets them every other day or so. She's 8 months.

Aw, I miss hiccups
DD got them ALL the time in utero - several times a day. As a newborn, maybe a couple times a week? I don't think she was still getting them when I went back to work at 7 weeks

Yes. SO MANY HICCUPS in utero and out. I hated it because when he was tiny they kept him awake He still gets them once a week or so at 7 months.

Yes. LO got hiccups just about every time I ate in utero. He still gets them a few times a week at 6 months. He had them a ton as a newborn.

@Alivoo01: It definitely got way better at the 3 month mark or so. Before that he had them at least once a day.

DS gets hiccups now, maybe a few times a week (and he did on the inside as well, often) - he actually just had hiccups this morning. He's 8 months.

LO got hiccups in utero 2 or even 3 times a day. She still gets them probably once a day at 4 and a half months. I am super hiccup prone so I think she might just take after me.

Yes and they continue at 3 months. Although he has had reflux issues and the doctor said that hiccups can be triggered by reflux so that might be why.

DD got hiccups constantly in utero and still gets them pretty frequently now at 11 months. DS hardly ever got them or gets them now.
