My lo does not have tachycardia but I did just recently. Tachycardia does not always mean something dire is wrong. I had svt which is totally benign so fingers crossed your little has something that won't cause issues
Did you get referred somewhere to get it checked further?

Not the same, but LO1 had a fetal heart arrythmia, discovered at 27 weeks, and I remember the fear All the medical professionals were much calmer than me! I had a level-2 / in-depth ultrasound though the normal protocol is a fetal echocardiogram; and weekly Doppler checks. It lasted until about 40 weeks or so. I hope you can get more info soon and speak with a perinatalogist who can maybe set your mind and heart at ease! I think there are meds they can use for fetal tachycardia?

@DesertDreams88: tachycardia is actually a kind of arrythmia. Arrythmia just means an irregular heart rhythm, brachycardia is slower than normal and tachycardia is faster than normal.

@MamaBear87: I am currently waiting for my Dr to call me tomorrow to see what he wants to do. He was in a delivery when I had my ultrasound.
@DesertDreams88: I just don’t know what the next step is. The US tech told me most likely an early visit with the dr and another ultrasound. She also mentioned a fetal heart specialist. That lady has me all kinds of freaked out and I literally have to wait until tomorrow to find anything out. I just want to know that she is going to be okay.

I just made a post recently about my sister and her baby, when she went in for her anatomy scan it was super low then when she finally got to the specialist it shot up to the 290s so they admitted her and put her on some medication to slow it down. They said there's an extra electrical node or something so they'll be monitoring her closely for the remainder of the pregnancy but they're very hopeful of a positive outcome!

@cyndistar3: I hope your sister and her baby end up being alright. I’m still waiting for the dr to call. I’m beyond scared and nervous. Ugh, stupid limbo land

@littleblessings: i hope you hear from the doctor soon and they're able to get you in for answers. There's tons of reasons for tachycardia sending hope that it's not a giant deal
