At around 8DPO I had one single, burning nipple for a few hours. Had it not been Thanksgiving I might have paid more attention to it but I sort of just brushed it away.
First thing that made me wonder for real was when the smell of bacon cooking made me vomit. I LOVED bacon until that morning. I think that was 10DPO (maybe 11).

I started throwing up like crazy and I thought I had a stomach bug. Turned out I was almost 5 weeks pregnant.

I stood up from the couch and was dizzy in a way I'd never experienced before... I seriously saw stars and my vision was darkened around the edges. I thought it was a fluke until it happened a second time. This was maybe 10-11 DPO.

My nipples hurt badly! Not my breast just my nipples. This started about 5dao. I'm about 10dao and they still hurt! Also about two days ago I feel like I'm constantly peeing. I just don't know if these things could really be happening this early or if they're in my head /:

A positive test! On reflection, I had to pee a bunch, but that was it and I didn't really think much of it because I have a small bladder.

I missed my period!
In hindsight, I would say that a change in appetite was really the first symptom. I wasn't as hungry as I usually am, and just could not finish any meals. I then felt very similar symptoms to PMS (bloating, cramping, sore breasts) and I would have sworn black and blue that I was about to get my period... but then it never came.

Exhaustion and weird cramping in my uterus around 8-9DPO. This last time I also had sensitive nipples but I was still nursing so I chalked it up to that.

9DPO I had the weirdest symptom, my hands became extremely hot, so hot I had to hold a bottle of cold water. I also had a headache and felt like I was coming down with something.

At 4 dpo (yes 4), I was dizzy and just not feeling right. I had a pretty good idea at that point.

So it is possible to have symptoms this early! You all just gave me faith that I can possibly be pregnant. I think ill take a test tomorrow morning!

@court_schaeff: I think it's possible to have symptoms or not have any symtpoms early on. Every pregnancy is different, the only real way to know you are pregnant is a positive pregnancy test.

So whens the best time to test and what brand do you all recommend?? @littlek

I was looking for symptoms, but what really should have clued me in is that on 10 & 11 DPO, I was so tired I was literally sleeping until 11 am and taking a nap by 2 p.m. (I wasn't at work that week). I never sleep past 8:30, so that should have been a clue. It was like-you-have-mono tired.

@court_schaeff: I got a faint BFP at 11 DPO, but I think you could definitely test with an FRER at 10 DPO. It might not show up on a digital at this point, but if you get a positive FRER, I would do a digital, too!

@Mrs.Blue what is FRER? New here and all these acronyms will be the death of me haha

@court_schaeff: first response early results... They're the tests marked "get results up to 5 days before your missed period". Super sensitive! You can test in the morning or hold your pee for a few hrs and test tonight.

Gotcha! I do have one of those tests handy. I believe it says six days before missed period and I believe I'm hitting that mark. Today is six days before AF is supposed to come

@court_schaeff: it can dilute your urine... So drink a bunch and then hold it as long as you can. Or wait till morning and use your first morning urine (fmu).

I tested yesterday.. BFN. I'm going to give it a couple dayd and use fmu. Fingers crossed!!

Horrid period like cramps that woke me up at night for 2-3 nights around.. oh gosh I don't remember, 7 DPO? Then extreme fatigue around the same time. I remember trying to finish my workout and wanting to lay down and die I was so tired. I got my BFP at 9 DPO I think.

The first time, slight brown spotting was my first clue at 10 DPO. At 12 DPO I had a strong metallic taste in my mouth and tested positive that day. The second pregnancy, I had brown spotting at 8 DPO and felt nauseous at 10 DPO and tested positive that day.

No clue until I took a test on 12 dpo, the one month I wasn't symptom spotting.

@court_schaeff: About 3dPO I had one episode of copious, thick lotiony discharge like nothing I'd ever seen before. That confused me because it also sort of fit the criteria for fertile cervical mucus, though was unlike anything I'd ever had. A few days later I had a weird "lightheaded" kind of dazzling feeling for a moment over my left ovary (no idea how else to explain it, it was weird). Then the most marked change was a whole lot of sneezing. No idea what that was about, but I was sneezing like a zillion times a day. I also started feeling a bit nauseous anytime I got hungry starting about 10dPO, and was far thirstier than usual. Of course at the time I thought I was inventing symptoms, but it turned out they were all real!
