For anyone who was TTC for over 6 months, how long did it eventually take to get pregnant?

When I was around 20, I got pregnant twice by mistake. I'm fairly certain it only took about 2 or 3 cycles of him not pulling out to get me pregnant.

Now that I'm 30, it took us 15 months / 14 cycles to conceived. And we were TRYING.

We're both perfectly healthy, all tests (blood, semen, ultrasound) came back normal. But I have irregular periods. The only thing I did differently this cycle we conceived, was STOP exercising completely. I was doing 3 days of HIIT since 2014. I stopped December 2015, and pregnant January 2016.

We also used less lubricant. Cut down Pre-Seed to only about 50% of our BD sessions. Focused on natural lubrication, foreplay and just being happy to be intimate.

We were to TTC for over a year-ish. Made an appointment with a fertility specialist. I got my BFP the 3 months after our first appointment, and right before I had my appointment to review all our test results and to schedule the more invasive tests. (we had misunderstanding and an vacation that delayed some tests and results so it took 3 months to progress farther with our specialist)

The only thing that changed during the end was we started using an ovulation kit, but my husband and I are rather active in the bedroom so there's no way in over a year we just never timed it exactly right. (And we'd try around the right time anyways just nothing stuck.) The only other thing we changed up was from using an baby making safe lube to just coconut oil. So that shouldn't have made a difference either!

I did go to my follow up appointment and the doc said in both of our results everything came back perfect so there was no clear reason for our infertility.

For LO1 it took just under a full year and I had one early mc prior to my bfp. We started TTC when I stopped bcp and it took several months to start ovulating regularly and then a few months after that to conceive. I'm pretty sure it was the bcp that really screwed with my system because I got pregnant first opportunity with #2 and currently #3 and an oopsie which turned into a cp in between those 2.

24 cycles. The second round of clomid at 50mg worked. His semen analysis was perfect - really strong numbers but I didn't ovulate on my own due to atypical non hormonal PCOS. I ovulated on both rounds of clomid but the second one worked.

My first was 8 months, but there was a miscarriage involved.

    My second was 2 months.

LO1 took 8 months; I had a uterine polyp removed and was pregnant the next cycle. (LO2 was an oops baby.)
