It seems like a lot of pregnant mama bees are having girls this year (I'm one of them them!).

We're having a girl. A friend of mine who is due in August is also having a girl!

Everyone I know is having boys! I'm only 7 weeks so it's too soon to tell anyway, but as of now the plan is to stay on team green.

My best friend is pregnant with a girl,
another close friend is pregnant with a boy
and three of my cousins had girls in February/March.
It DEFINITELY is the season of girls, for sure!!!Oh, I am pregnant with a girl too.

On our August 2012 due date twins board, we have 4 bees with girls and 1 with a boy! So many girls this year!

I am having a girl. Of my friends and I who are do within a month of each other, 3 are having girls and one is having a boy. Last year was lots of boys, so I assume their future husbands will be a year older than them!!

@banana: thank you! altho I think it would be "easier" for hubs to get attached if we have a boy first. I think having a girl first would freak him out more/make him feel more helpless.
@artbee: surprisingly, I don't have any strong feelings either way yet! I've had a few dreams and the baby has been both a boy and a girl. That's good that you had a feeling it was a girl and it ended up being a girl!

Twins, and twin 1 has been shy for nearly every scan but they reckon it's two girls now. I know at least three women who were told they were having girls which subsequently turned out to be boys, though, so I'm actually feeling very Team Green on twin 1.
I have two nephews, DH has five nephews and three nieces, my closest friends have five boys between them- maybe ill turn the trend by having two girls:) My brother actually really wants us to have girls, all of his friends have sons. -
I am having a girl. The results of that kind if shock me though because out of the 10+ pregnant friends I have on facebook only one of them is having a girl!

How interesting. Out of my friends seven of us are currently pregnant or have given birth this year. Out of the six that know (I don't), only one is a girl. I thought this year was the year of the boy!

@MsLipGloss: @joyjoy: I got a manicure recently, and the manicurist was asking about my wedding bands..led to newlyweds..he asked if we were waiting for kids, I said I was expecting - he just about shot out of his seat! he went on and on about dragon babies and how this is the best year for one!
I laughed because I am also a dragon baby, so we will see how LO and I butt heads

@SorryCharlie: That's so cool that you are a dragon, too. My mom is a dragon also. This is the year of the water dragon (also my mom's kind of dragon). Here is what the interwebs had to say about water dragons:
"Water calms the Dragon’s fire. Water Dragons are able to see things from other points of view. They don’t have the need to always be right. Their decisions, if well-researched, are usually better since they allow other’s to become involved."
So maybe not as much head butting?
