There was a thread similar to this almost 6 months ago but I decided to start a new one
Since it’s getting really warm here I don’t think my rings are going to last much longer. I’m only 20 weeks but my fingers usually swell in the summertime pretty badly even when I’m not pregnant so I’ve been dreading this. When I put my wedding/engagement rings on this morning it was a little snug!
When did you have to take off your rings?

I'm 26 weeks and can still wear them, but I try to take my rings off no later than 9 p.m. . . . otherwise, they have to stay on until the swelling goes down enough the next day to take them off.

I took mine off last August - I was 6 months pregnant. I had tremendous swelling though, like pitting edema - yikes!
A friend of mine had to get hers sawed off and the metal got so hot from the saw cutting that it burned her finger and she has a big scar. It scared me so much that anytime I swelled a little bit while pregnant, I took them right off, haha

I'm 22 weeks and my ring is also getting snug. I take it off as soon as I get home. It leaves a mark on my hand the way it is, so it looks like maybe another couple weeks is all I have left

My fingers have been swollen since 16 wks, I relented and took my rings off wk 18. I can't wait to be able to wear them again.

I was into my 7th month before I had to take my rings off, but I had a couple of weeks there where I had to really force them on. lol. I don't even bother to try anymore.

Still wearing mine comfortably at 37 weeks. Granted it's starting to get a bit cooler here now (yay for winter!) but until 4 weeks ago, we were still living in the very hot and humid tropics and I had no problems with my rings.
Based on all the swelling post birth, wondering if I should take them off before labour...hmmm...

@Running Elley: I already had mine off at 18 weeks and I got a cheap stand in from Target. I was able to put them back on within 2 wks of my miscarriage. My mom had to have hers cut off with my 3rd sister when we were on vacation. I remember her crying and vowed that would never happen to me whenever I was pregnant. I know that I would cry if I got mine cut off.

My engagement ring has been too snug for comfort since 24 weeks. My wedding band is still going strong at 26.5 weeks though!

I was pregnant in Florida in the summer..... so I took my rings off before necessary just in case. I wore my wedding ring on a chain around my neck.

I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow and I think I'm going to take off my engagement ring, finally. The wedding band has been off for a couple of months now, but my slightly looser e-ring has been OK until this week. Now I have to use soap to take it off each night

It's getting to be quite hot in L.A., and I've already taken my rings off at 23 weeks. I probably could have kept them on a few more weeks, maybe even another month, but they were pretty snug through the morning and didn't want to take a risk!

We've only reached 80 here but that was when I was 36 weeks pregnant and my ring was snug but came off still. Any warmer than 80 and I probably would have taken them off though!

Oh.... also I started taking my rings off at night pretty early--my hands swelled more at night

I had to take mine off this past weekend when I hit 24w. It makes me sad because with my last pregnancy (delivered 4/1) I wore them up until the hospital made me take them off prior to starting my induction.

I had to take mine off before 4 weeks - but a rash under my ring was my first pregnancy symptom (I can SMELL our wedding rings from time to time.) I wear them on a necklace.

I think it depends on the rings. I'm 25 weeks and mine are both still comfortable even when very active outdoors in the heat last weekend. I recently changed the setting on my engagement ring though and the band is a lot thinner than the old one. I used to hate wearing my old engagement ring when it was even slightly warm pre-pregnancy so I can't imagine I would be wearing it now.

I'm only 16 wks and can wear them comfortably. My rings were actually a lil loose pre-pregnancy and I'm glad that I never got them re-sized.
I can def tell that they fit tighter, but now it's comfortable. 
I always take them off after work.

i'm 34.5 weeks and they still fit but i havent been wearing them as much lately bc i am afraid one day that there gonna get stuck and dotn want to have to get my rings cut off. havent had any swelling in my hands yet, but feet and ankles is a another story lol

I'm 30.5 or so weeks, and my wedding band (I don't wear my E-ring) has been snug and harder to get on/off the past week or two, and I finally took it off yesterday morning.
Before my hands and feet would just swell when I was outside in the heat, but it was cold in our apartment and I woke up swollen, and it took me over an hour (off and on) to get my ring off. It's on a chain around my neck now. It made me sad to take it off, and my finger feels naked, but I'd rather deal with that then have to get it cut off.
