I'm officially 37 weeks today and no longer on bedrest!
I went into pre-term labor at 30.5 weeks, was hospitalized, and have been on strict bedrest ever since. It has been a long 6.5 weeks but we made it! I'm still taking it easy as I hope to keep this baby cooking as long as possible, but if feels SO good to have some freedom.
Thank you to all of my Hellobee friends who made the last month and a half bearable!!

Yay!! I'm so glad you're LO has been hanging out on the inside still! You've done so well with bedrest and soon you'll have a sweet baby to show for it!

Congrats! My doc kept me in bed the full 40 to grow the baby. Enjoy these couple of week while it's still just the 2 of you!

@Mrs. Jacks: Bedrest til your due date must have been so difficult!! I am still taking it *easy* as I'd like to make it til 38 or 39 weeks, but she thinks the baby is big enough now that if I go into labor now, all will be just fine.

@winniebee: Just enjoy! By that time, I felt so crappy that even if she had liberalized, I probably still would have been in bed most of the time.

@Mrs. Jacks: Haha, yes, now I understand what everyone else due in May has been complaining about (back pain, groin pain, PRESSURE). And I just was on my feet for half an hour! It's hard to *let go* and not be paranoid about birth anymore, but we have some fun stuff planned this week. I'll get a pedicure tomorrow, pop into work for a few hours Tuesday....and Wed. is hubby's birthday so hopefully dinner out with him!

Congrats! I know it's been a long road, but you made it! Now take your freedom, and enjoy the last few days (or weeks) before your baby arrives.

Enjoy! I think the first things I did when I came off bed rest were same as you: pedicure, hair cut, and going into work. Felt soooo good after all those weeks. Make the most of the next few weeks!

Aww so great! The haircut, facial and pedi are the perfect pampery things for you before baby!
Actually getting a mani/pedi was the first time I left y baby with DH three weeks after I had him
