Planning a wedding shower and I'm in charge of fruit. Easy/cute ideas that I can achieve myself? No edible arrangements, lol! I'm not that crafty.

I like that fruit on a stick thing, where it looks like a rainbow. So like, strawberry, cantaloupe, pineapple! green grapes, blueberries,... Something purple.... Looks easy enough?

What about a fruit fondue? Just need a vessel with melted chocolate and a variety of fruit.

Fruit on a stick aka kabobs
Strawberries stuffed with marscapone & honey (image shows them topped with blueberries)
Sliced melons on pretty platters (drizzle with honey & lime to enhance sweetness)

FYI fruit kebabs are pretty time consuming. We did them for a rainbow shower. We were afraid to do then the day before so the day of it took two people almost an hour to make a platter. Some fruits are harder to spear than others. I think just arranging the fruit nicely on a platter or in a cute fruit salad bowl (like a carved out watermelon) would be much easier.

Re-plate store bought fruit trays and add dips like marshmallow, or yogurt or sourcream with brown sugar and caramel or chocolate caramel sauce

@Mrs. Sketchbook: I don't think you need to do anything special - a large glass plate covered in fruit is beautiful~

This isn't so much "fun" as helpful- I hate fruit salad for the reasons they talk about in this article bit they give dinner good ideas on combating that issue: http://www.slate.com/articles/life/better_summer/2014/08/fruit_salad_rules_how_to_rescue_this_much_maligned_side_dish.html
This idea is cute- you could do two different fruit salads in individual cups which always looks nice. http://www.marthastewart.com/272543/cinco-de-mayo-fruit-cup
I just saw individual, disposable cups and forks somewhere that were cute the other day. I of course can't remember where but I can let you know of I figure it out.

You could always attempt this.
Looks like they got a small cantaloupe and peeled it and made mellon balls

I kept it simple at the last shower I threw and did cut up strawberries and blueberries in a pretty bowl. Easy peasy
