So I found out today that I have to have my gestational diabetes test before I leave for my trip on Saturday, and the only time I can do it then is tomorrow sometime 12:30ish-1ish. I'll be 25 weeks and 1 day, which I think is a little early for this?!
They told me to not fast, eat low sugar, and high protein. I don't eat fruits, veggies, or meat (and my ob knows this) and this is what I'm thinking of eating. Does this qualify as "low sugar" ?
Breakfast at 6:30: A big bowl of Cheerios & 2% milk (15g of sugar (mostly from the milk), 8g of protein)
"Lunch" at 10:30: A multigrain waffle with natural peanut butter (5g of sugar, 4g of protein).
Test around 12:30-1:30ish.
I'm not really looking for suggestions... I'm just seeing if the above meal would be considered "low sugar" by normal people
