When did you start your major nesting for baby number 2? I'm ten weeks from my due date and really started this weekend. I pulled our all the baby clothes and started arranging furniture. Part of me thinks this is way to early but in reality I did it earlier with DS1. When did you start really getting for number 2s arrival?

I've been working in small batches...I didn't full on nest with either kid. I've only got about 10 days left with this one, and yesterday I cleaned the kitchen, reorganized DS closet, fitness stuff ready, packed hospital bag and put in car seat!

Knowing that I'm due in August, I know once my third trimester starts I won't want to do much work. So this spring I want to get a lot of projects done.

I've been doing things in spurts, it's been picking up lately though (I'm 35 weeks) with things like cleaning odd areas and organizing things that don't get organized regularly.

I'm not doing anything till we find out gender in early April. And oh, we need to get BIL out of the house first!!!!!

@locavore_mama: Yea I feel like I'm limited to what I can do with all of the clothes and stuff from DD. If its another girl, I wouldn't mind packing them up to save them. But if its a boy, we might as well just get them out of the house!

@thou are you done after this one? We're still undecided so even if it's a boy I'll still hang on to the girl clothes.

With both LO's I worked on their nurseries a little at a time, and with #2 I finished the day before I went into labor.

@locavore_mama: Yea we are probably done after this so no point in hanging on to them. If its a girl we will re-use but if its a boy, we will try to consign them so we can make some money to buy the boys clothes.
My brother isn't even married yet so I don't think its worth saving to pass down to anyone. I may save some of the gear and favorite outfits for a while but basic carters onesies and stuff we will get rid of.

@BakerBee: I remember last time it was nice to have the nursery painted with furniture before memorial day. After that point it wasn't a bit deal to just move stuff around.

It comes and goes in waves depending how I'm feeling. I never nested with #1, but am definitely having days of it with #2. It's been since about halfway through when the morning sickness let up and very, very random when I just HAVE TO get something done.

I'm only 6 weeks along, but I should really get started soon - right now it's much easier because L isn't even crawling yet. Once he's crawling and then walking I'm sure it will be significantly more difficult to accomplish as much!
