We found out the genders of our twins yesterday (boy and girl!). Most of our family lives in different states so we decided to try Google hangout as a way to do our gender reveal. It was so fun to announce to everyone at once and see all of their reactions. It is a memory we will treasure forever. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has family/friends that are out of town.

Oh my god I love this idea!!! So freaking cute! I'm really not a big fan of gender reveal parties (I feel like they are very 'look at me! look at me!') but I think this is a spectacular idea of a way to have fun with it without being over the top. Well played : )

@sorrycharlie: It is basically like a video chat but you can include up to 9 additional people so you all see the same thing and can talk to one another.
@MamaMoose: Thanks! We didn't want to make a bunch of individual phone calls/video chats with our immediate family so we decided to give Google hangout a try.

@bluestriped bee: I think it should as long as they have the Google Talk app downloaded to their phone. As long as the host is on a computer it should work because the host sends invites to the participants.
