My littles are starting to make me look a bit rotund in the middle. If I rest my hand on the top of said rotundness, I definitely look pregnant. I'm stuck in an airport where there are a million delays so it's packed. I was standing and layer my hand on my tummy without realizing it. Before I knew it this nice man jumped up and offered me his seat. And let me tell you, it was so nice to sit! Very grateful, achey preggie here!

That happened to me the other day on the skytrain! I was blown away by his kindness and pretty shocked since I'm only 17 weeks pregnant with a small bump...but the hand on the belly is a sign I guess!

Yes! People offered theit seats all the time or they would let me get my food first etc. It sure was nice

When I was about 6 months pregnant, DH and I took a vacation to NYC. We got on a bus on the upper east side and about 3 different Grandmas in their late 60s-early 70s jumped up and demanded that I sit down. It was really cute.
We took public transit a lot in NYC and that was the only time someone got up to offer me a seat.

I had to buy a big bag of dog food when I was about 6 months pregnant. As soon as I walked into the pet store, the clerk ran up to me, asked what I needed, picked up the food, and walked it out to the car. I thought it was really nice of him to do that without me having to ask at all.

That's so nice! I do think one of the reasons people don't always offer is they don't want to offend just in case you aren't actually pregnant, but I think the hand on the belly is a good sign.

I remember I was waiting in line in Target, and a couple in front of me basically demanded I go in front of them. They spoke very little English so the cashier didn't really understand what was going on until they pointed to my belly! I was probably about 7 months at that point. I was also asked a few times at our local grocery store if I needed assistance with getting my cart out to the car.

I shop at Publix because they will carry the groceries out to the car and even load them in the car for you. A major perk if you are shopping after work with a little one! I can get her all loaded up in the car seat and they load the groceries and off we go, it is WONDERFUL!

So sweet! People offer to carry stuff for me all the time. At our airport one TSA worker moved me to the regular X-ray machine line even though the first one had pointed me to the scatter one, and said, "You're over here, mama," which I thought was so sweet -- I was 15 weeks at the time. And they gave me the closest parking space to the building at work! I always feel like, it's so unnecessary and I don't want to stick out (lol no pun intended), but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy, too.

I had lots of people open doors for me. But my absolute favorite thing wasn't necessarily a "perk" - when I was at my gym heading to the locker room at 8 or 9 months pregnant, a teenage boy (probably 16 or 17) looked at me and said "Way to go" or something like that. Almost like he was cheering me on for working out when I was obviously crabby and uncomfortable.
