Red: great tips! can you share the toys please?
I also keep a bag of toys in the car that DS doesn't see on a regular basis to entertain him, but he's outgrowing them and I need new ideas!

For my tip: I use a small bra bag to corral baby socks in the washing machine and dryer.

Thanks for sharing. My LO is still only three months old but I learned really early on to keep a second "diaper bag" always in the car with extra wipes diapers and clothes. It helps me from loading up the diaper bag too much knowing that we've got extras on hand.

Charlie often refuses to put on his jacket before we go out. I've learned to sometimes just let him go outside without a jacket, and within a few seconds he is asking to put it on. Makes life a lot easier. The same trick works for shoes and socks too!

Another one: when Charlie won't take medicine, Bee and I start to ignore him and pretend to give the medicine to each other and talk about how yummy it is. We never offer it to him until he starts to beg for it. Then we reluctantly let him have the medicine. Works for food sometimes too.

Not sure this is a trick, but a timesaver: once your LO is able to take baths, get into the tub with them. That way, you don't have to take a shower every day. Showers become a glorious treat for when you have me-time.
