@mrbee: how fun! I did some commercial voice over work at a TV station I worked for. It was so much fun but very stressful at the same time. In my case the tough part was getting a long script spoken in a very short amount of time and not sounding rushed!

My biggest suggestion is to take your time learning the parts really well. Next, read them out loud many times until you get used to what you have to say. Once you've got the script down, then work out the timing and tone.

@mrbee: I recorded in a studio.

In my current job, I recorded some training videos for customers. Those I recorded with my computer and a set of headphones with a microphone on them. I found this harder than doing commercials because there was no set script, I just mostly winged it... And said um a lot. :-\ Anyways, I recorded that myself using Camtasia studio and one other program I'm blanking on right now.

I'm guessing you're recording yourself? What are you using?
