When I went to the optometrist the other day, she reminded me to be careful as I was paying for the visit. Careful? She told me to guard my glasses and sunglasses because LOs break them all the time!

ugh yes. A huge peeve of mine. DS will lean in for a kiss so sweetly then snatch the glasses off my face! He is a trickster! They are pretty badly misshapen. I need to take them in to get them fixed, they're only a year old and they're Prada!

Yes! Scratches for me... I am taking a break from pricey sunglasses until the the LOs are bigger

Yes- he knocked my contact out on the airplane... not the disposable type either! Luckily once we landed I could crawl around and found it under the seat.
Another time he scratched my cornea. That was super fun... but it sent me to the eye doctor and we found another issue very early on, so it was a good thing in the end.
I guard my glasses pretty well, he did bend them a little once, so I learned pretty quickly. The sunglasses I buy are super cheap since I break and lose them easily enough without his help thankyouverymuch

Oh yes, she has snapped my sunglasses frame just playing with them. Whoops!

LO broke a pair of DH's sunglasses. Luckily Maui Jims have a great replacement policy. We sent the glasses back with a $10 check and DH got a new pair 2 weeks later.

Yup. In one day he broke two pairs. One by sitting on them and the other with his Herculean strength.
