I know it's an old wives tale, but just curious.. what was your LOs heartbeat and gender?
With my LO- HB 150, boy

Same with T it was usually 140s or 150-boy.

I don't remember exactly, but they were really similar.
I have a boy and a girl. Thought I was going to have 2 girls! -

M was all over the place. As high as 170 and as low as 140. At the very first ultrasound she was at 167.

It's always been high between 155-170, and it's a boy. I was sure it was a girl!

I am 18 weeks, and find out in 2 weeks. At our 10 week ultrasound it was 180, at 14 weeks it was 170, last week it was 150.

Both LOs were consistently in the 140s and they're both girls!

DS was always in the 140's. This one is higher (150's) but we dont know the gender.

It was usually pretty low, 130-140, girl.

Firstr trimester - around 160's
Rest of the pregnancy between 140 and 150. Had a boy.

My LO's was typically in the 130s...and she's a girl.

Heartbeat number and sound (galloping v. train) both said girl - and were right.

it was higher in the 1st trimester, now around 140-150 as I close out the 2nd. It's a boy, assuming they are correct.

E: 150's pretty consistently -
I had boy/girl twins. It varied throughout pregnancy (I had an ultrasound 1-2x a month and always checked heart rates) but they were never very different from each other. I think they had the biggest difference early on (first tri) but I can't remember if one was consistently higher or lower.

140s-150s - boy
ETA: @littlek: I'm experiencing the same thing. Xander heartbeat was lower and the one heartbeat measurement we got for this baby is in the 160s! But I'm trying not to get my hopes up that it's a girl... don't want to be too disappointed if I have two boys!

Varied up & down, they were usually opposite - one up, one lower. Two girls.

Usually in the 150s or 160s and we're having a boy.

My OB said the heartbeat is usually higher early on (like less than 10 weeks) then evens out.
My LO was always high like over 160
This baby was 140s at the 12 week scan.

183 at first ultrasound and he was a boy!
Then it was always around 160ish.

In the 170s at 12 weeks, and he is a boy. Usually lower in the later stages though.
