Wow, I haven't been to this site in months, but wanted to check on baby jaguar and found this! I'm so sorry to hear that you're on bed rest, but relieved to read that you've made it to 31 weeks and baby is doing well. Hang in there! Sending "stay put" vibes to your sweet girl.

@78h2o: Thanks lovely. xx It's nice to see you!
31+5 here. I was hoping to be transferred back to my old hospital at 32 as we discussed with my OB... but it is looking like this big referral hospital here is pushing for me to stay. Super disappointed but not sure how much say in it I have... so still waiting to find out what happens.

@jaguar: 32 weeks is huge. you are almost there! I hope you get transferred back, but also trust that they know what is best for you and baby girl.

@jaguar: I hope that you get transferred back since you seemed to like the other one better. But whatever is best for you and the baby is the most important.

@jaguar: Hospitals don't seem to like to transfer patients away. At least, that was my experience. Hope you're doing well.

Well, today started off terribly and I spent most of the morning sobbing as nobody was giving me answers and I felt totally abandoned. In the end, I asked my hubby to ring the OB and just get an answer one way or the other so I knew what to expect.
Turns out that my OB had been trying to get in touch with my temporary (public hospital) OB since TUESDAY and had no luck - and I'd not seen him during my entire stay (not great care, hey?) - and so after hubby rang him today, he rang again until he could get through.
They agreed that since I'd stayed stable on ultrasound this week (cervix remained open but no change and meds doing their job with no prem labour signs as yet) I could go.. HOME! So instead of bed resting this week at my local hospital, they agreed that I could bed rest at home!!!!
Still have to be careful to take it easy and do exactly what I was doing in hospital - so bed resting, no cooking, only up for toilet breaks and quick shower on a chair - but HOME. I can't believe it.
So here I am!
32 weeks today, and let's hope we can keep on cooking!!!
