As a gift, I was given a membership to a housecleaning company. The membership provides housecleaning at $15/hour, a $10 discount from their usual $25 hourly rate.
I just scheduled my first cleaning! I can't wait!

$90 for 4 bedroom, 3 full bath house (they don't clean the bathroom in the basement, since it is the only finished thing down there), about 1800 sq feet. They finish in less then 2 hours.
We don't use a pay by the company anymore. It was costing a lot more.

Having a cleaning service is amazing...you will love it!
We pay $80 bi-weekly for 2200 sq feet. It's one cleaner...she's usually at our house for 4-5 hours.

We're just about to hire a woman, but are getting a company in for a deep clean first. They charge $350 for 1-2,000 square feet. The cleaning woman charges $30/hr and will likely come for three hours twice a month.

€10/hour and my lady needs 4 hours.
Eta: we just gave her a raise to €12 because she is good, but the standard rate here is 10.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Let me know how they are. I need a local recommendation to one around here. My neighbor has one and I was considering looking into getting a quote.

Where have you guys found your cleaning service? I really need someone to come in and give our kitchen and bath a deep clean before the baby gets here, but I don't have a clue where to start.

$110 for our upper 2,000 sq ft every 3 weeks. We have a main cleaner and her husband or daughter comes, it takes them 2ish hours.

@thereeldeal mine was a referral from a friend. It depends if you want to use a company (check Yelp) or a self employed cleaner (usually word of mouth). There are benefits to both. Were you thinking a one time service?

@youboots: I want to have someone come in monthly after the first cleaning.

@thereeldeal having the same person every time was most important to me. I trust her completely and we have become very friendly over the years. I'm invested in her and her family and business. I want someone that I am comfortable with in my home with my house keys.

$80 every other week for 1.5-2hrs. They clean about 2,000 sq ft. It will go up soon I'm sure when we start having them clean the new babys room.

We have a 1200 sqft house and they quoted me 4.5 hours!!!!this is insane, right?
And I told them I don't even want them touching the bedrooms! (Ours are small and easy to clean ourselves.)

@TheReelDeal: found this one on groupon. It's called homejoy.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Umm that is crazy. Ours did a deep clean on the first visit and it did take way longer, but all subsequent visits have been shorter. So I could maybe see 4.5 hours once then less for other visits, but I don't know what they'd be doing for 4.5 hours for all visits.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: we have a cleaning lady come every other week and she spends 5-6 hours every time. Its $110 total, and we have an 1100 sq ft apartment. I swear I didn't know what clean meant until she came for the first time. My apartment was sparkling.
