We just moved to Seattle from San Francisco and most of my friends are in SF and/or in the DC area. My best friends from DC want to host a shower for me on the East Coast...how far along were you when your baby shower was held? I'm thinking of April/May when I'll be 6-7 months along. Is that too early?

I don't know. I decided not to travel for a baby shower and instead am going to have a baby party with baby included--after delivery.
I have too many people too spread out across the country and didn't want to worry about planning.
Sorry, that isn't really very helpful.
But, I think you can hold one whenever you want to! -
I was 33 weeks. But I didn't have to travel, if I did I would have done it earlier.

Had my shower yesterday, I turn 32 weeks tomorrow

Due to the holidays and family obligations we traveled for my shower at 30 weeks along.

i had mine when i was almost 28 weeks. i think 6 months is kinda early.... i think 2 months before due date is good.

My MOH and friends threw me a shower when I was just shy of 35 weeks. It worked out great! Timing was tough because it was around Thanksgivng and Christmas, so that ended up brig the best for everyone.

I'll be 33 weeks when I have my shower.

I'm traveling for two showers at 30 weeks, but my local shower (also in DC) will be around 33-34 weeks.
