I am under the impression that you can sometimes see the heartbeat on the ultrasound before you can hear it.
How many weeks were you when you first heard the baby's heartbeat?

We saw it sometime in early week 6 via ultrasound. Heard it.....maybe week 12? It was after my NT scan which was at week 10/almost 11.

It depends on the ultrasound equipment that they use. I heard and saw the hearbeat the same day. I was 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant and they had to use an intravaginal wand to do the ultrasound

Saw & measured heartbeats at our first appt at 7 weeks on the dot. Only time I've ever had the doppler was at 9 weeks, the hearts chugging were kind of faint, but definitely there.
