LO is staying with Grandma this weekend. She lives an hour away, in a bigger city. I wish she would live in the same town so I'd have a little less anxiety about it! Does this anxiety ever get better or Is this what its going to be like the rest of my life?!

For us, one grandma lives 1.5 hours away and the other lives 3 hours away!
I think it'll get easier as the opportunities to stay with grandma increases and your LO gets older.

Both grandmas live in the same town - 1 hour away. He has had one overnight at one of the grandma's without me so far (right around 5 months)!

Both grandmas live in the same neighborhood, about 10 min away.

They live 2.5 and 4 hours away. LO hasn't done an overnight yet, and she likely won't until she's much older since it's too far to do for just one night.

Grandma lives 9 hrs by car or 1.5 hrs by plane. Bummer for us!

One set of grandparents live 2 hours away. The other set of grandparents live a few states away. Honestly, I'm perfectly comfortable with our LO staying overnight with my parents (the closer ones) since they watch my nephews and nieces often. I'm less comfortable with my inlaws doing the same thing because they haven't been around young kids in years and are smokers.
