I'm curious if there is a correlation between how early the baby drops and when it actually comes.

I,don't remember exactly but i think it was weeks with my first pregnancy... 3 maybe?

Weeks. I dropped with s first at 33 weeks and then a bit more around 36 and still didn't go in labor until 39 weeks.

Baby dropped around 33 weeks, went into labor at 38+3. It was a looong and uncomfortable wait!

I hit 36 or 37 weeks this week and still haven't dropped. Ugh!

I honestly don't feel like I ever dropped. People told me around 36/37 weeks that he looked lower but it felt the same to me. I delivered him the day after my due date.

not for me. DD dropped right at 36w, I was induced at 39w6d. I have no memory of when DS dropped, poor second child.

Baby never dropped for me. Went into labor at 40+1

Last time was ~36 weeks when he dropped and he came at 39.1.
I don't think this one has dropped yet and I'm around 36 now.

First baby. I dropped at 36 weeks, maybe a little before and I'm still waiting on labor at 39w5d.

Never really dropped, she was high my entire pregnancy. I was induced at 39+5 weeks .

By about 37-38 weeks, he definitely dropped. I remembered how tough it was to walk especially in the summer.

@lemondrop: I remember being SO jealous that you had him early and I ended up being almost a week late! haha DD2 has definitely dropped earlier than W did, and she's been measuring 2 weeks ahead on all ultrasounds, so I'm kind of hoping I can get to meet her sooner rather than later.

I'm just not ready for this guy yet! I am feeling soooooo craptastic today, I'm on the verge of a panic attack that he's coming. I think it was just my broccoli binge craving last night and a night of crappy sleep that's not agreeing with me, but I'm really nervous about surviving work today. Half way done with the day.

I dropped five weeks before I was induced - not helpful.

I never even noticed when I dropped. The doctor told me I did at one of my appointments late in the pregnancy when I specifically asked her. I never would have known though. I also had to be induced the day after my due date. I always wonder when I would have gone into labor naturally.
I'm just not ready for this guy yet! Reply
