I think I was 1cm at 36 weeks and then they checked again at 39 weeks (couple days before I was 39 weeks) and I was between 2 and 2.5. My water broke exactly at 39 weeks and I was 2.5 when I got to the hospital.

Can't remember the specifics but I think I was 3cm dilated and 75% effaced around 38 wks. Water broke at 39w2d and when I was admitted, my numbers had not changed.

I was checked at 36w6d and baby was super low but I was not dilated water broke that night and DS was born the next day at 37w0d.

At 36 weeks I was 1 cm and my doctor said almost the same thing at my check. And they kept saying it at other checks I had, but I was only dialated to 1.5-2 cm when my water broke at 39w6d. During labor they kept telling me he was higher so I'm still not sure if it was a difference on people checking or if he moved up.

I was 1cm from 36 weeks on. 12 hours after my induction at 41 weeks, I was still only 2-3cm. 10 hours later, I delivered.

My friend was 1cm at her 40 week appointment. 2 days later she delivered after 4 hours of contractions and 10 minutes of pushing.

My doctor told me that first-time moms drop earlier than second+ time moms, who might not drop until shortly before the baby is born.

I was dilated 2 cm for over a month.

I was 1cm 30 hours into labor.

I still wasn't dialated at my 41 appointment. Went into labour 5 days later.

I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced when I was 35 weeks. By 37 weeks, I was still the same.

I was 2cm dilated at 36 weeks, 3cm at 38. I stayed at a 3 until I was in labor.

I declined all cervical checks until I went into labor naturally at 40-4 but I don't think that dilation is an indicator of anything until you're in labor. I know so many women who were completely closed and went into labor the next day, and my cousin was dilated to a 4 at 36 weeks and she ended up having her son about 5 days late!

My baby was really low too. Two days before I went into labor, I was completely closed!
